At Array Capital, we know little about selling restaurants or car dealerships. But we know how to run effective sales processes for software companies. Our circle competence is well-defined, and we stay within its limits.
This laser focus on software gives us a competitive advantage over generic advisors. We add more value because we understand our client’s business better.
This difference in understanding is our strength.
Selling a business convincingly is only possible if one understands its industry, market position, unit economics, and unique strengths and weaknesses.
Attila Hardy is the founder and CEOÂ of Array Capital.
He is a seasoned investment professional with experience in private equity, M&A, eCommerce, and financial services.
‍
Before founding Array, Attila bootstrapped a D2CÂ e-commerce venture to 20 team members. Previously, he was an Investment Manager at Legend Holdings, directly investing in European banks and insurance companies.
He was part of the team that invested £110M (~$150M) in Pension Insurance Corporation and acquired a 90% stake in Luxemburg's oldest private bank, Banque Internationale a Luxembourg, for 1.48 billion Euros ($1.76 billion.)
Previously Attila was an Investment Analyst in the European private equity buyout team of Partners Group, one of Europe's largest private equity firms. Before that, he worked at Redalpine, a ZĂĽrich-based venture capital firm, and in the M&A department of the global pharmaceutical company Roche.
Attila holds a Master's in Banking and Finance (Magna cum Laude) from the University of Zurich. He lives in ZĂĽrich, Switzerland.
This buy-side experience means we know exactly how investors and private equity firms think and what they look for.
We used to be in their shoes, meeting with management, preparing presentations for our investment committee, and working through endless data rooms and sales purchase agreements.
Because of this insight, we know how to prepare and present companies to financial buyers to maximize the chances of being acquired at an attractive valuation.
For the same reasons, acquirers find working with Array Capital easy, straightforward, and efficient.
Array Capital is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, a premier financial center in Europe.
This strategic position affords us the capability to facilitate cross-border transactions. It grants us direct access to a network of critical venture capital and private equity firms, family offices, investment funds, and high-net-worth entrepreneurs seeking investment opportunities in software companies.
While we are based in Europe, most of our clients are located in North America. We have successfully closed transactions in the USA, Canada, UK, and India, making us a truly global software M&A advisor.
